Article 1 (Purpose)

The purpose of these Terms and Conditions is to prescribe the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the 21st Century Military Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as the "Institute") and the users in using the internet-related services (hereinafter referred to as the "Services") provided by the website (hereinafter referred to as the "Site") operated by the Institute.

Article 2 (Definition of Terms)

  • 1. "Site" means a virtual business place set up by the Institute using information and communication facilities such as computers to provide information and services to users.
  • 2. "User" means a member or non-member who accesses the "Site" and receives services provided by the "Institute" in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
  • 3. "Member" means a person who has registered as a member by providing personal information to the "Site," and who can continuously receive information from the "Institute" and continue to use the services provided by the "Institute."
  • 4. "Non-member" means a person who uses the services provided by the "Institute" without joining as a member.

Article 3 (Specifics and Revision of Terms)

  • 1. The "Institute" shall post the contents of these Terms and Conditions, business name, address, representative's name, contact information, etc., on the initial service screen of the site so that users can easily find them.
  • 2. The "Institute" may revise these Terms and Conditions to the extent that it does not violate relevant laws, such as the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions and the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection.
  • 3. In the event that the Terms and Conditions are revised, the Institute shall announce the application date and the reason for revision on the initial screen of the site along with the current Terms and Conditions from 7 days prior to the application date to the day before the application date.

Article 4 (Provision and Modification of Services)

  • 1. The "Institute" performs the following tasks:
    • Provision of military-related research materials and information
    • Information on academic events, forums, and seminars and management of participation applications
    • Notification and guidance on the status of donations
    • Other tasks determined by the "Institute"

Article 5 (Membership Registration)

  • 1. A user applies for membership by expressing their intention to agree to these Terms and Conditions after filling out the member information according to the registration form set by the "Institute."
  • 2. The "Institute" shall register as a member among users who have applied for membership as described in Paragraph 1 through an internal approval process. Due to the nature of the Institute, activities may only be possible after the administrator's approval.

Article 6 (Withdrawal of Membership and Loss of Qualification)

  • 1. A member may request withdrawal from the "Institute" at any time, and the "Institute" shall immediately process the withdrawal.
  • 2. If a member falls under any of the following reasons, the "Institute" may limit or suspend membership:
    • Registering false information at the time of application
    • Threatening social order, such as interfering with others' use of services or stealing personal information
    • Performing acts prohibited by laws or these Terms and Conditions, or contrary to public order and morals

Article 7 (Obligations of the Institute)

  • 1. The "Institute" shall not perform acts prohibited by laws and these Terms and Conditions or contrary to public order and morals, and shall do its best to provide services continuously and stably as prescribed by these Terms and Conditions.
  • 2. The "Institute" shall have a security system for protecting users' personal information so that users can safely use internet services.

Article 8 (Obligations of Users)

Users shall not perform the following acts:

  • 1. Registration of false information when applying or changing
  • 2. Stealing others' information
  • 3. Changing information posted on the "Site"
  • 4. Transmission or posting of information (computer programs, etc.) other than information determined by the "Institute"
  • 5. Infringement of intellectual property rights such as copyrights of the "Institute" or other third parties
  • 6. Acts that damage the reputation of the "Institute" or other third parties or interfere with business
  • 7. Disclosing or posting obscene or violent messages, images, voices, or other information contrary to public order and morals on the site

Article 9 (Ownership of Copyright and Restriction of Use)

  • 1. Copyright and other intellectual property rights for works created by the "Institute" shall belong to the "Institute."
  • 2. Users shall not use information obtained through the "Site" for profit-making purposes by reproduction, transmission, publication, distribution, broadcasting, or other methods without the prior consent of the "Institute," or make it available to third parties.

Article 10 (Dispute Resolution and Governing Law)

  • 1. Disputes regarding the use of services arising between the "Institute" and users shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
  • 2. If a lawsuit is filed regarding a dispute arising in connection with the use of this service, the court having jurisdiction over the location of the "Institute" shall be the exclusive jurisdictional court.


These Terms and Conditions shall take effect from February 13, 2026.
